Cosmetic Dentistry
Koup Family Dental believes everyone deserves a smile they love and want to show off to the world. Crooked, damaged or missing teeth can be debilitating socially, emotionally and professionally.
What is Cosmetic Dentistry?
Cosmetic dentistry improves the appearance of your teeth, gums, and/or bite. The good news: It’s usually pain-free and doesn’t necessarily involve surgery. There are numerous inexpensive procedures that we can perform in a short time but whose results will enhance your smile for months and years to come.
Gaps, chips, cracks and misaligned teeth can affect not only your speech but also your ability to chew your favorite foods. In some cases, cosmetic issues may even contribute to TMJ pain and migraine headaches.
With an improved smile comes improved self-confidence. That enriched, now more frequent smile, in turn, has a proven beneficial influence on your self-esteem and on your relationships with others.
What Can Cosmetic Dental Treatments do?
To name a few, our cosmetic treatments can
- Whiten stained or discolored teeth
- Correct or fill gaps between teeth
- Repair chips, cracks or fractures in teeth
- Reshape crooked teeth and correct overcrowding
- Address exposed roots
- Replace large silver fillings
We want our patients to feel confident in their smile! Our doctors will work with you to address your individual issues for your optimum dental health.

New Technology Not Offered Anywhere else in the Area
When the proper restoration calls for crowns, bridges, onlays or inlays, our office uses state of the art CAD/CAM technology in the Planmeca PlanMill® 40S. This machine allows our doctors to produce, or mill, metal-free dental restorations and appliances chairside to the exact specifications needed for each patient.
The new Planmeca PlanMill 40S boasts high-performance technology capable of milling a broad range of materials. We can now produce crowns, bridges, onlays and inlays in as little as 1 visit – same day service! No more waiting days or even weeks for an outside lab to fabricate your restoration.

Veneers
Veneers are a cosmetic overlay for your teeth, delivering a superior, symmetrical, and bright appearance. They can cover gaps and chips as well as worn down, broken, or discolored teeth.
These custom-made, wafer-thin, tooth shaped shells are bonded to the front surface of existing teeth, altering their color, shape, size or length. They even resist staining! Better still, veneers are a permanent option, so no need to worry about removing or losing them.
Koup Family Dental offers a variety of veneer types at our practice. Each veneer treatment is custom-designed to meet the individual needs of the patient.
If you are interested, we encourage you to make a consulation appointment. During the consultation our doctors will will discuss the various options, allowing you to make a well-informed decision about the type of dental veneer that will meet your needs and cosmetic objectives.
Clear Orthodontic Aligners
Koup Family Dental is a proud provider of both Invisalign® and ClearCorrect clear aligners for your orthodontic needs.
Clear orthodontic aligners are a great alternative to traditional metal braces. They can give you the smile you have always dreamed of without the hassle of living with “train tracks”!
Invisalign and ClearCorrect aligners
- adjust the teeth in very small increments. After wearing one aligner for a set time period, you will progress to the next phase of treatment and receive a new one
- correct misaligned or overcrowded teeth, teeth with gaps, and bite issues such as overbite, open bite, crossbite and underbite
- are made of clear plastic and practically invisible
- are custom fit to a patient’s teeth and are non-invasive
- are easily removed for cleaning
- must be worn all day (except when eating, drinking, flossing or brushing)
If you are interested in using clear aligners to straighten your teeth, be sure to ask us about it!

Crowns, Implant Crowns, Bridges, Onlays & Inlays, Composite Fillings
All of these procedures partner restorative dentistry with cosmetic dentistry. Please visit our Restorative Dentistry page for in-depth detail.
